About the Author

Jake Virgo is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist. He has a passion for learning and educating others to improve the lives of those around him. His creative and imaginative mind sparked an interest in storytelling, inspiring him to write books that both educate and entertain. As a children's book author and father, he is excited to continue sharing his imagination with others through his stories.

Outside of work, Jake enjoys exploring his interests in neuroscience, astronomy, and health and well-being. He also enjoys learning to play the drums. He loves spending time outdoors, especially playing golf and baseball.

Jake has been married to his wife, Meghan, since April 2022. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Emma, in June 2024 and their son, Beau, in May 2026. Jake and Meghan enjoy spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, and watching their children grow.
